sbd conference

yessss finally i have web access, anyways its a long and boring story, so this will be quick because after watching a crap load of ball games I am dying to play my SvSW game against (3-1) Arizona

Bama 40, Houston 3 – Houston

The build up for this game was huge. it was a homecoming not only for several of the native Texans on my team, but for myself as well. Playing this game in my hometown of Toronto as well as having The Booster live in attendance made me very nervous. None of our loser friends have PlayStation2’s or video game systems (weirdos, and they don’t have blogs either) so we made the treck to my sister place which is in a northern Toronto suburb. Yes they only live in the Lawrence Park area but anything north of bloor to us is a suburb. We also made sure no one talked to us during this conference

But first, I had to let The Booster go through my dynasty and of course booster dollars gets you an hour worth of practice sessions with the Bama squad. It was worthwhile as I learned a couple of things: FR QB Marcus Minor will be sick, WR Richard has the potential to be great and the pump fake can be a QBs best friend.

So on that note, the game proved to be a joke. 2013 Houston ain’t no 2006 Boise St. The Crimson Tide dominated from the start. In fact Coach Namath was so bored with the game that he left during the 3rd quarter to get a drink Terrence Graves (who went 12-15 for 208 yards and 1 TD, but was injured in the 2nd Quarter). Minor who was 3-3-48-1 was also invited but turned it down because of his strict military values. With Namath gone The Booster took over and he put in 4th string QB Dwight Simpson. And using the trademark SBD phrase:

WOW!

5 for 8, 181 yards 2 TDs

Gameplay with my 4th team squad was so exciting that the Booster demanded to see another blowout……

Bama 38, Kentucky 21 – Tuscaloosa

….but another blowout was not seen. The final score is not an accurate reflection of how close the game was. Alabama struggled in their SEC opener. No screenshots were taken as the game was tight. Bama’s passing game was contained by the Kentucky secondary and there were two missed FGs. However the leadership of Terrence Graves proved to be the X-Factor (uhhhh I didn’t steal that word from NBA Live did I?). Bama decided to focus on the run in the second half and Graves, who only threw for 89 yards and 1 TD, would finish with 131 yards and 1 Td on the ground. Seth Sanchez also had his first 100 yard game of his career with 154 yards and 2 TDs. Oh and also of note was the fact that the administration wanted me suspend my guard Keith Davis for 2 games, uhhhh he’s my starting guard screw that. He got to play.

Okay too much time updating last weeks games, just look at the screenshots and read The Booster’s review, I gotta play SVSW and I’m down on aggregate 41-14, but heck at 41-14 score for me, makes me win the egg on away goals. Ya !
