Bama’s march to an SEC 4peat began with a 45-7 thrasing of Ole Miss. What started off the scoring was 69 yard PR TD by true freshman Trevor Gibson. From there the usual suspects took over. Marcus Minor was 11-18 for 160 yards and 1 TD while Seth “Dirty” Sanchez ran for 110 yards and 2 TDs. I was also able to eat a sandwich and cut my nails while pounding on Ole Miss. However scrub time was more interesting with backup Safety turned QB Chris Odom going 5-6 for 102 yards and 1 TD, while WR Jeremy Hood, a QB recruit, caught 3 passes for 65 yards and 1 TD. Every year I make a lot of position changes; it adds to the fun and challenge of the game and this year all my choices seem to be doing well. Here’s some key changes:
Jeremy Hood QB –> WR
no way this scrambling QB was going to get any p/t with Marcus Minor only as a SO
Lucas Campbell, WR –> TE
top rated WR in 2013 demanded playing time, but depth at WR prompted a move & he lived up to his billing by having 3 TDs in his first game
Nick Buckles, G –> T
started at G last year and this Hoover High alum at 6′7 moved to a more natural position
Adam Pressley, T –> G
I have been waiting so long for this bad ass to get P/T so I had to move him to G.
p.s. he hates everyone
Dave Johnson, CB –> FS
Last year did decent in the dime as 3 star true FR, but depth was needed at FS
Chris Odom, FS –> QB
Had to make this change when I found out this guy had the 2nd best arm strength
Paul McNab, Football –> Futbol (WARNING INSIDE JOKE)
