South vs. Southwest (SVSW) info

Imagine Bedford Falls without George Bailey or Teen Vogue without L.C.; Horrible? yes! We all know. Now imagine the 2015 Crimson Tide squad without Seth Sanchez.

Lalalalalalalalala

A 3peat of the SVSW title for Alabama seems unlikely with the 5th ranked Tide only beating the SBD Wildcats of Arizona by a score of 49-42. Simply put, the defense played horrible. One minute into the game the Wilcats were up 14-0 after a quick TD and an INT TD on Marcus Minor’s first pass. This would’ve phased other teams, but Minor stayed calm spreading out the ball and of course using Seth Sanchez on 75% of the plays. Bama was up 35-21 at the half. In the 3rd quarter the Tide mesed up twice on 4th and short deep into the endzone. This gave Arizona a bit of momentum and with two minutes left in the game, they found themselves within a TD of tying the game. Score was 42-35 with two minutes left and Arizona recovered an onside kick and had no problem scoring. The momentum was all in Zona’s favor, but on an I Twin Counter, Sanchez broke free for a 79 yard TD.

Alabama 49, Penn State 42

key stats
- Minor 14-19 194 yards 2 TDs 1 INT
- Sanchez 234 yards 3 TDs, 4 REC 63 yards
- Ek Chua Smith 3-43, Richard 3-38-1, A.Thomas 3-35-1
- Zona QB Cantrell 356 yards 3 TDs

you are basically looking at the Phoenix Suns of College Football, and in all honestly i’m not too sure this style of play will work in the SEC or against #2 Penn State or #4 USC
