In my Dynasty Arkansas must feel like Dawson Leery, they never beat Bama and he never gets to bang Joey. Once again the Arkansas Alabama game was full of dramatics, but as always the Crimson Tide came up on top.
On defense all eyes were on Lawrence Horn and True Freshman Scott Joyce. Horn made the move from ROLB to SS after the injury to Jonathan Logan, while Joyce would be making his first career start against Arkansas’s talented backfield in front of a loud home crowd. Both played outstanding in their new roles. Joyce, wearing Aaron Mikulec’s #47 was a beast, while Horn held the fort balls in the conservative Cover Two, played by Bama most of the game. The star on D however was Matt Williams, rarely did I control him, but he was everywhere on the field, finishing with 8 tackles
The game was tight all the way through, with Arkansas taking a 20-17 lead into the 3rd quarter. But then Leon Frazier took over, making several important passes and running for the fences when everyone was covered. His best play came on a 3rd and 15, QB Draw was called and it looked as if Arkansas’s OLB read the play perfectly, Frazier simply waited for him to bite, then spun so quick that he broke his ankles. “I made him look like a bitch” was all Frazier had to say
Alabama 24, Arkansas 20

Douchewraps Key Stats of the Game
- Frazier 15-17 202 yards 2 TDs 2 INTs
- Green 71 yards (not so good, they were on 20 carries)
- Ek Chua 8-134-1
Next: 5-0 Bama is #8 in the Coaches poll and #5 in the Media with a road game in Athens against 3-2 Georgia. This game will not be taken lightly

The Good News
- Alabama beats Arizona 38-28 to retain the SVSW egg for the third straight year.
- QB Leon Frazier earns the MVP with 4 total TDs (3 passing, 1 rushing)
- Jacob Martin has a breakthrough game with 2 key INTs, including an amazing dive INT (pictured right)
- RB duo of Stevie Green and Junior Williams rush for a combined total of 229 yards
The Bad News
- Sophmore SS Jonathan Logan an emerging superstar and the best player so far on the Tide secondary, fractured his forearm and will be out for 11 weeks. There are no other scholarship SS on the team
Douchewraps Key Stats of the Game
- Frazier 9-14 156 yards 3 TDs, 55 yards rushing 1 TD
- Green 118 yards, Junior Williams 111 yards 1 TD, 1 REC TD
- Ek Chua 3-98-1
- Martin 2 INTs
Bama is #9 in the Coaches poll and #5 in the Media and they have a big match against #17 Arkansas. The Razorbacks are 3-0 and are an A+ team with solid NFL talent at all their skill positions. Bama is hot, but will need to find a solution for the problem at SS
Arkansas top players
QB Tiger Davis 95 OVR Masfield, TX
RB Rory Landry 96 OVR Lakewood, WA (a tide target)
WR Matt Fuqua 92 OVR Midfield, AL (sellout, also a tide target)

i’m walking on a tight rope here. i have just over a month (of real time) to win a national title for Alabama on NCAA 07. NCAA 08 for 360 comes out soon and in 13 years of Dynasty in 07, I have yet to win a national title. If I do not win one by the time 08 comes out, I will accept my fate

anyways I’m off to enjoy my lone day off and this sunny sunday and observe weird vancouver things like those pictured above, but afterwards I will focus all energies towards a national title (2nite I will play SVSW and Arkansas). And to be honest I don’t think it will happend in 2018. After going 2-0 and beating #2 Penn State 41-21, the team looked weak in their SEC opener against Kentucky. Sure the final score was 31-6, but there was something missing. My defense could not stop several easy plays against Kentucky’s crappy D and even though I scored 31 points, I did not feel like I dominated. This type of performance will not be acceptable against the SEC’s better teams like Arkansas, LSU or Auburn.
Douchewraps Stats of the Game
- Frazier 16-19 244 yards 20 yards rush (rush stat is misleading because he was sacked 7 times…. UNACCEPTABLE)
- Stevie Green 82 yards 2 TDs; Junior Williams 37 yards 2 TDs
- Ek Chua 5 rec 101 yards (solid)
- FS Brandon Williams 7 tackles 1 sack (twin of Junior)
Alabama is #11 in the coaches but looks like the press loves them as the debut in the media polls at #7. So much hate

The Suns Spurs playoff series is honestly some of the best basketball I’ve ever seen, but once my life long dream of seeing Dublin’s own Pat Burke touch the ball during a playoff game, I knew that nothing could ever top that in the NBA so I turned on the PS2.
#15 Alabama showed they weren’t scurred by scheduling #2 Penn State for their home opener. The matcup was billed as the Game of the Week and it featured a pair of city QBs. Bama of course had Chicago’s Leon Frazier, while the Nittany Lions were led by Heisman favorite SR Joe Arnold of Baltimore. Arnold lived up to the hype and was virtually unstoppable. He didn’t mind taking the sack, but he would also played the ball control game, using short passes and runs to tire out my inexperienced secondary (FS, SS and both CBs are all 1st time starters), and then burn them for the deep bomb. Bama played the possession game as well averaging about 10-12 plays per series. Led of course by what could possibly be the best backfield in SBD history. Frazier along with RBs Stevie Green and Junior Williams controlled the pace of the game. After running the ball 80% of the time, the turning point came late in the 2nd quarter as Frazier sent Stevie Green on a deep route for a 71 yard passing TD. Bama was up 21-14 at the half
The second half became a shootout, but this time Bama’s D came up huge. Captain Derek Lloyd (seen below knocking over PSU’s 99 OVR RG) put the heat on the Heisman fav. And the secondary finally woke up and made several key deflections. As for the offense, its was pretty much the best post-Sanchez performance I’ve seen.

Alabama 41, Penn State 21
Douchewraps Key Stats of the game
- Frazier 10-17 227 yards 1 TD, 68 yards rushing
- Green 104 yards 1 TD; 2 rec 72 recyrds 1 TD
- Junior Williams 73 yards 3 TDs!!!!!!!!!!!
- PSU QB Arnold 324 yards 3 TDs
Bama is now #12 (bullocks) and they have Kentucky next before SVSW

Use 2017 recap page for reference
What went wrong in 2017? Were expectations too high for a team on probation? Perhaps. but one thing is certain, 3 straight years without an SEC Title (no SEC West title either) & no National Championship in Joe Namath’s 12 years as coach, won’t cut it in Tuscaloosa. A 13-7 victory over Navy early in the season was probably a strong indication that this team was not going to be special. In the Tide’s two losses in 2017 (against hated rivals Tennessee & Auburn), the offense and defense just did not come up big in the 4th quarters. Seems weird, but yes an 11-2 season is considered a failure
However there were some positives that came from 2017. A big criticism from several boosters about the program was the fact that there weren’t enough thugs on the team. Tis true, Bama’s stars have all been standout individuals off the field. Terrence Graves, Aaron Mikulec, Seth Sanchez, … all good guys. Even Josh Reese turned around his life in his one year at Bama. This lack of thug stars seems to have changed with the emergence of QB Leon Frazier, WR Wendall Harris and SS Jonathan Logan.
Logan, who idolizes Delmon Young filled in nicely when Jamaal Austin was suspended for two games. He was clutch against the classic OT game against Vandy. Logan signed with the Tide before the NCAA put the program on probation and insiders say that the star SS was given several “gifts” from boosters. Harris finished the year with 674 yards and 6 TDs, but really only got significant PT during the 2nd half of the season. He was the MVP of the Independence Bowl going 9-173-3, but his actions on his 3rd TD in the end zone is what Shreveport will remember.

He said he did it in honor of Will Higgins.
The biggest suprise came from Leon Frazier who started the year as the 3rd string QB. He wears 15 in honor of his hero Tim Tebow and Leon is basically Kobe with street cred. He is very selfish and only cares about TDs, refusing to take snaps that were outside of the red zone. “Yo in a pool its 6 points for ONE touchdown and only 1 point for 10 yards, so fu&% yards, I all bout TDs. Let whiteboy Micky do all the work” Despite his attitude, Frazier is clutch, which is what was lacking since Seth Sanchez graduated

okay once internet is up and running (should be 2nite) SBD will be back on track. So an update on 2017, Bama finished 11-2 and a #18 ranking in both polls. But with defeats to Tennessee and Auburn and a third straight year without an SEC West title, 2017 was considered a failure. However the team did show promise in their blowout win over Texas in the Independence Bowl. Most impressive was Wendall Harris with 9 catches for 173 yards and 3 TDs. Bama lost a lot of recruits to Missouri so its nice to have one of their own become a possible star for the Tide.
Anyways the 2018 campaign started in Dallas against SMU. This cupcake is much needed as the non-conference slate includes #2 Penn State, a decent Arizona team in SVSW and a week 10 tile at South Bend against #1 Notre Dame. Oh ya and then there is the SEC West where 4 of the 6 teams are ranked in the Top 25.
Anyways the team started out shaky and was down 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Then Leon Frazier put on a show and finished with 3 rushing TDs and 2 Passing in a`52-15 victory. More info and detailed preview of 2018 to come… I promise

details to come soon, I promise
after the disappointing 24-30 loss to Tennessee, SR Chris Odom gave
up his #2QB spot in favor of redshirt Freshman Leon Frazier. Wearing #15 (in honor of his hero Tim Tebow) Frazier would replace Micky Daniels on 3rd and 4th downs and delight fans with big runs and deep passes. “F$%# the west coast offense, that’s whitey’s job, I’m the realelist, I make big plays fo reale” Frazier would be named the game MVP for the next three games and make the ESPN cover twice, more importantly however was the 33-28 win over LSU, which ended the Tiger’s two year winning streak against Alabama.
Frazier’s stat line (remember for the most part he only came in on 3rd and 4th downs and was clutch!!!)
at Miss St. won 45-16
1 for 1 30 yards 1 TD
31 yards rushing 2 TDs
at Vanderbilt won 31-28 (1OT)
4 for 8 73 yards 1 TD 1 INT
75 yards rushing 2 TDs
CLUTCH!!!!!! all in the 4th quarter and OT.
p.s. Vandy has a lot of NFL talent, hence the close game
LSU won 33-28
11 for 15 203 yards 1 TD
57 yards rushing
up next the Iron Bowl, then a possible rematch against Tennessee in the SEC Title game
